The Advanced Rebate Payment (ARP) Program from GSFA is designed to provide up-front funding to a Developer on behalf of the homeowner, to allow for broader consumer and developer participation in the Self-Generation Incentive Program (SGIP) under the California Public Utilities Commission (CPUC).
SGIP offers rebates for installing energy storage technology at both residential and non-residential facilities. These storage technologies include battery storage systems that can function during a power outage. Depending on the battery and how much you are using it, batteries can provide power for several hours, or longer. Battery storage can be an important component of a more robust emergency preparedness plan in the event of a power outage.
For more information about GSFA's ARP Program visit the Program Overview.
To start accessing the SGIP-ERB Program, visit the SGIP website. Reach out to an installer who can help navigate you through the application process. Use the "Find an Installer" Tool located on the SGIP website to find an installer in your area.
